Abstract
The aim of the submitted thesis is a review of existing literature in the field of a chemical analysis of volatile fatty acids. The subsequent step was the selection of an appropriate method that would be available in CNT laboratories, VSB-TUO. Given the intensity of chromatographic analyses, only partial validation of the selected analytical methods has been carried out in this paper.
