Výber optimálneho produktu životného poistenia

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is selection of the optimal life insurance product. The work applies methods of multi-criteria decision-making, which are then used to find the optimal product. The bachelor thesis consists of 5 chapters, including introduction and conclusion. The second chapter focuses on the characteristics of the decision-making process, its elements and structure, particular methods of determining the weights of criteria, as well as methods of multi-criteria evaluation of variants. The third chapter is devoted to the description of life insurance, its classification, the Slovak life insurance market and selected insurance products of risk life insurance, which are briefly presented here. The last chapter defines the specific subject and the required criteria and methods of multi-criteria decision-making are applied here. The used methods of multi-criteria decision-making are the TOPSIS method and the methods of linear individual utility functions. At the end of this chapter, the results of the applied methods are compared and the most suitable variant is selected according to the set requirements of the subject.
