Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with machinability of engineering materials. Machinability belongs to most important technology characteristics and at new materials development is its recognition important. In this work is describe normative machinability, effects causing machinability and is there explain methods testing machinability. In term on range this bachelor thesis don´t deal with experimental part directly machinability tests, but it acquaint with methodic, which is use by machinability tests (measure of cutting forces, surface quality and, compare chip form). As samples were use three different materials (dural, brass, and steel). In the conclusion of work are evaluation experiments and total summary observation about machinability technical materials today.
