Abstract

The content of the master thesis is the design of a cooling device for medical purposes in the postoperative process, especially the knee joint. To the search section – State of the Art which explains the importance of cooling and the existing methods of cooling follows the methodical process of the device design – specification assignment, determination of requirements, functional structure, morphological matrix, gross and clean building structure for a cooling bandage and a control box. The clean building structure includes a 3D device design, for the production of a prototype, on which is made a control measurement.
