Abstract

In my master thesis I deal with flexible energy systém which develops the company Vítkovice Power Engineerig. This concept uses a Brayton and Rankine cycle and this combination is called a steam – gas cycle. Steam – gas cycle is in this case realized in the combustion of coal. This systém is designed so that, in this case the grate boiler produces steam which is mixed with compressed air to form a steam – air mixure. This mixure is heated in steam – air mixure heater. The heater comprises a plate from membrane walls and is designed of several parts. The aim of this thesis was calculate the size of the heat transfer surfaces one of these regions and develop a design proposal for the inlet of the steam – air mixure heater, while i sketched in detail several variations of hanging heat transfer surfaces in the boiler draft. Finally I describe the advantages and disadvantages during production, operation and maintenance of steam – air mixure heater designed as membrane wall.
