Dušan Teichmann, Ph.D. This diploma thesis deals with increasing the capacity of the railway station at Ostrava - Bartovice assigning of ArcelorMittal Ostrava, a.s. From the available information, the capacity of the present stage was calculated. In the subsequent steps, four variants were designed. For every variant its capacity is evaluated. Achieved results are compared with capacity in present time. All the variants are aimed at changing the technological processes and there are no constructive changes in the track yard.
