Příprava a organizace volejbalového turnaje

Abstract

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to organize a volleyball tournament of the extra-league. The theoretical part describes the issues related to management in more detail and further discusses the concepts of manager, marketing and briefly explains the volleyball rules. The second part of the work is devoted to the preparation of the tournament. In the preparatory phase of the tournament, the research method SWOT analysis is used, which serves to identify strengths and weaknesses, identify opportunities and threats. At the time of the tournament, measures were introduced in the Czech Republic that limited not only the world of sports, and therefore the work includes an interview with the head coach of the women's extra-league about the situation in the club during the pandemic. The third part is the implementation of the extra-league tournament, which took place in December 4-5.5.2021. In the last part, based on a questionnaire survey, ideas for the next organizers of sports events are described.
