Obrábění automobilových kol z hliníkových slitin

Abstract

With constantly more stringent emission standards the automotive industry is forced to reduce fuel consumption of their cars. One possibility to reach this, is to reduce the weight by using lightweight materials, like aluminum alloys instead of commonly used steels. Especially in constructinon and the production of engines parts, pistons, brake calipers, door reinforcements, bumpers and wheels. With their production is closely related machining proces. For unproblematic machining products which are made of aluminum alloys is necessary to choose optimal machining parameters. The most important parameters are geometry of cutting tool, the material of cutting tool and its surface finish.
