Abstract

The processing of this thesis was to achieve predetermined objectives, quantified using DEA efficiency level of the sub-portfolio statements from predefined inputs and outputs of the production process, taking into account such products in the future strategy of the company. The work includes theoretical background design DEA models for the preparation of a subsequent evaluation of the effectiveness of the selected company. In the practical part are applied models discussed in the theoretical part, which are complemented by alternative evaluation of the effectiveness of the company's products. In conclusion, the analysis is applied to the product portfolio. Then, a modified tool for managing manufacturing strategy. The conclusion includes suggestions and recommendations for increasing the efficiency of individual products and the effect resulting from the use of DEA models.
