Abstract
The bachelor‘s thesis deals with the description of basic types of vacuum pumps, the principle of their function, safety requirements and instructions for working with the EDWARDS nXR60i vacuum pump. The main objective of the bachelor‘s thesis is experimental measurement with the aim of determining the dependence of the length of the evacuation time on the dimensions of the suction line. In the last part of the thesis, the results of experimental measurements are evaluated, on the basis of which a conclusion is drawn.
