Abstract

This thesis addresses the issue of heat exchanger stations and their modernization from the perspective of measurement, regulation, and automated control of technological processes. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current state of heat exchanger stations, evaluate suitable technologies and trends in the field of control, monitoring, and visualization of operational processes, and propose a model solution for a heat exchanger station in accordance with applicable standards and legislative requirements. The thesis also includes an overview of current legislative changes and their impact on the operation and maintenance of these facilities. The practical section presents a proposal for automated control and visualization of station operations in the Reliance environment, including an assessment of its energy efficiency. The result of the thesis is to familiarize the reader with the operating principles of heat exchange stations and their importance in heat supply systems. At the same time, a comprehensive design of a modernized heat exchange station is presented, meeting current technical and legislative requirements, with a focus on energy-efficient operation and the use of modern automation and remote monitoring elements.
