Motivační faktory a jejich vliv na fluktuaci zaměstnanců různých generací v podnikovém prostředí

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of work motivation and employee turnover in the context of intergenerational differences in the current Czech labor market. The aim of the thesis was to identify the main motivational factors of representatives of the Baby Boomers, X, Y and Z generations and to find out what causes lead these groups to leave their jobs. The theoretical part defines basic concepts, motivational theories, and specific characteristics of individual generations. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey involving 80 respondents. The results show that while older generations prefer stability and financial security, younger generations place greater emphasis on flexibility, meaningfulness of work, and the quality of interpersonal relationships. Based on these findings, specific measures are proposed at the end of the thesis to improve the efficiency of motivational systems and reduce employee turnover in organizations.
