Abstract

This thesis is focused on the study of migration permeability of landscape for large mammals on the border of three states - the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. The area around the Mosty u Jablunkova has became crucial for the migration of large carnivores from the core populations abroad to the Moravian-Silesian Beskids, and the overall throughput of the valley directly affects the abundance and distribution of predators in the Czech Republic. The problematic, however, are barriers - road and railroad, which cross functional migration route. The solution of this question has become the ecoduct, which would ensure a safe transition of mammals across communications, which is separating the Silesian and Moravian-Silesian Beskids. The theoretical part of this paper deals with the localization and characteristics of the area of interest and theoretical concepts of the studied issues. In the practical part is drawn the used methodology, maps and field work. The result is output from the field survey and mapping the migration corridors according to the throughput landscape processed in the program ArcGIS.
