Abstract

This thesis deals with studying the surface of metal materials of type Atmofix exposed in exacting corrosive environment. The introduction describes the properties of Atmofix steel, the suitability of this steel in harsh environments and corrosive properties of thawing salt used to treat icy roads in the country. The experimental part is focused on studying changes in the corrosion resistance of the four coatings exposed to strong corrosive environments within a specified time and their adhesion to the surface of the Atmofix steel. The results are processed into tables and then evaluated in the form of graphs. Observed results were compared and evaluated.
