Abstract
This thesis deals with the mathematical modeling of real flow of fluids with heat transfer in the construction of the drying adapter. This adapter is used for drying the tungsten filament after the technological operation. In the introductory part of the thesis is described the drying heater and heat transfer theory. The main aim of the thesis is to define appropriate mathematical model of hot air flow with heat transfer and application on the drying adapter. In the second stage is a defined mathematical model applied on constructionaly modified version of the drying adapter with an expected improvement in heat transfer. For the numerical simulation was used Fluent CFD 13.0.
