Abstract

The aim of this work is to analyze the current state of the company in terms of the state of logistics, which is active in the woodworking industry by producing hardwood and softwood firewood. After analyzing the current state of the company in terms of logistics suggest possible improvements to the company could increase efficiency and reduce costs in order to prosper more in their field apart from the competition . Small business is often compared to large companies capitalized weaker , and therefore, any savings in logistics costs for such a venture can mean big plus in the future development , especially nowadays when undergoing economic recession . The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is based on professional literature focused on the knowledge applicable in a company, it is the organization and the deployment of reserves in the workplace , inventory control and production management. The practical part is based on theoretical knowledge analyzed the current state of the company in terms of logistics and possible improvements. In conclusion, the thesis is given a summary of work , assessment objectives and draw their own conclusions from the application of theoretical knowledge in the practical part.
