Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design of the constructional solution of the safety device that protects the ploughing unit and the frame of the chisel plough from damage. The ploughing unit is excavated on contact with an obstacle and after overcoming it it returns to the working position. This paper begins with a brief description of the function of the chisel plough followed by a survey of domestic and foreign chisel ploughs. Then, a survey of the different types of ploughing units is given. In the calculation part, the kinematics of the ploughing unit, the analysis of forces and the appropriate calculations related to the selected type of securing are made. The last part presents the results of a strength analysis in which the designed restraint was subjected to loads simulating actual operating conditions.
