MOKROŠ, M. Design of Hinged Cover Couplers for Public Transport Vehicles. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanica Engineering, Departmen of Production Machines and Design, 2017, 68 s. Thesis head: Dr. Ing. Anna Plchová The master´s thesis deals with the theme of the design of the tilting cover for trams coupling. In the theoretical part, it is focused on the demands and quests that compare the already used ways for tilting the cover. The following part is a part with suggestions for opening kinematics, their testing with real models and drawings in 2D program. In the work, there are also discussed possible ways to design and select the most appropriate option. In the final part of this thesis are structural designs, strength calculations and FEM analysis.
