Abstract

The content of this thesis is creating of a database of cutting tools. The theoretical part deals with management of cutting tools and utilization of software support for their management. A practical part of the work is exclusively focused on the creation of a database in terms of the Department of Working and Assembly and Engineering Metrology. The database will find application when working with the machine DMG MORI. The database is processed to fit the needs of a programmer and a machine operator. The database is primarily administrated as a tool evidence. The conclusion is dedicated to a brief description of tools that are mostly used on the machine.
