Abstract
This master's thesis deals with the design of a device for transmitting electrical signals between the rotating part of a mounted hatch and a TATRA DEFENCE VEHICLE truck. The first part analyzes the current state of the technology and possible methods for transmitting electrical signals and power via contact surfaces. Based on this analysis, a design solution for the transmission device is proposed, including an assembly drawing and manufacturing documentation. Furthermore, an electric drive for rotating the mounted hatch is developed to replace the existing manual control, including a computational verification of the proposed components. The thesis also includes a proposal for an alternative design of the transmission device with the option of upgrading to an electric drive, as well as an evaluation of the overall solution in terms of the vehicle’s operating conditions and safety.
