Abstract

This diploma thesis describes the concept design of the flue gas denitrification unit using SCR in the "Tail End"option. Theoretical part describes the formation of nitrogen oxides, prevention of their production and reduction of already formed nitrogen oxides in flue gas. It represents producers and methods which can remove the nitrogen oxides. In the practical part is processed the NOx removal unit using SCR in the "Tail End"option. The design contains stoichiometric calculations, calculation of reagent consumption, design of two types of heat exchangers for flue gas reheat and regenerative air heater calculation. At the end of this diploma thesis the alternatives are compared and the results are evaluated.
