Abstract
The main goal of the diploma thesis is to propose a computational methodology for modal analysis of the enclosure assembly with a stator stack and windings of an asynchronous electric motor. The introductory of this work describes working principles, design and a manufacturing of a three-phase asynchronous electric motor. Based on the literature search, approaches to the creation of a computational model of the enclosure, stator sheets and windings are presented. Furthermore, two test examples implemented in ANSYS software are presented. The first test example deals with the inclusion of contacts in the modal analysis. In the second test example, the influence of contact algorithm settings on a pre-stressed modal analysis of a bolted joint is tested.
In the practical part, the computational model of the enclosure, stator sheets, windings and the enclosure with pressed stator stack with windings were created in ANSYS software. The calculated modal properties are compared with the modal properties obtained from measurements on two electric motors from the company Siemens. The influence of material parameters and electric motor production operations on natural frequencies is investigated in computational models. These manufacturing operations include, for example, stator sheet lamination and packing and pressing of stator stack into the enclosure. Based on the achieved computational and experimental results, a computational methodology was proposed.
