Thesis head: Vrtek, M. For this thesis I chose a topic – Geothermal Heat Pump Design. This thesis deals with the usage of a heat pump for heating and water heating in a detached house. This thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is about history of heat pumps and refrigerants, it describes the main principles of these devices and the possibility of their usage, including involvement. The second part is about calculation of heat loss in a detached house. The last part deals with actual design of this device, including its components and accessories. The conclusion contains economical and environmental valorization of the whole project.
