Abstract

This thesis is devoted to the determination of the lifetime of the crankshaft of a Tatra truck. Different designs of crankshafts are discussed in this thesis. The topic of predicting fatigue life is also examined. The main part of the thesis is about the calculation of the crankshaft fatigue. Determination of the service life was carried out in CAEfatigue software in the high-cycle fatigue field. The aim of the thesis is to compare and evaluate the fatigue prediction with experimental tests.
