Abstract
This thesis is focuses on human resources management in public administration. Questions of human resources management deal with personal management in institution of public administration and its main task is personal activities, services or functions. The thesis is focuses on questions of getting and choice of employees, their education, evaluation and remuneration and motivating employees in Town District Office of Moravská Ostrava and Přívoz. The aim of my thesis is to evaluate the stance to personal management in Town district office of Moravská Ostrava and Přívoz in years 2004 – 2008. The evaluation of stance to personal management is carried out through of following criteria: personal constitution and categories of employees, education and schooling expenditures and salary expenditures, getting and choice of employees, education of employees, motivating, remuneration and evaluation of employees. Town district office of Moravská Ostrava and Přívoz doesn´t place big emphasis on human resources management and it is restricted on mandatory activities.
