Stratégia pre organizáciu pôsobiacu v potravinárskom priemysle

Abstract

This work focuseson the creationof a new strategy forthe XYCompany Ltd. With thehelpofexternal and internal analysis I detects the state ofthecompanyand it’s environment. External analysis is performed usingthe methodof PEST and Porter method. Internalanalysis iscomposed offinancialanalysis, logistics analysis, personal SWOT analysis and the BCG matrix. With these findings in theanalysis, I developedcompany-wide strategy for company XY Ltd. Aim was to develop astrategy that ensurescompany’s smoothoperation and willalsohelps to solve not very positivefinancialsituation and helpthecompany extenditsmarket share. Thetheoretical part has definedconcepts and methods, which I workwith in thepractical part. Theworkis a forecast offuture developments, whichrelies on formalwrittenplan forthe Slovak Republic for theperiod 2011 - 2012.With PEST method we describethe external environment, especially in political, economic, sociocultural and technologicalterms. Porter also introduces us to new entrants, substitutes,competitors, suppliers and customers of XY Ltd. Financial analysisismade using index variables. Personnel and logistics dataanalysis draws mainly from observations and interviews withcompanymanagement.
