Abstract

This Master Thesis focuses on Procedural Optimization and Maintenance of a Production Line.In the introduction attention is paid to the process which is an integral part of a group of activities, and the importance of maintenance nowadays is emphasized. The first part deals with the project management, its general level, and the project preparation, planning and implementation. The following part focuses on wear – what kinds of wear exist and what are the causes. Further in this part diagnostic methods are described how to detect or avoid hidden defects. This part also features maintenance in general, maintenance classification and individual systems of maintenance. Next part presents application of process optimization to a production line. And the last part concentrates on maintenance and diagnosis of risks that might disturb the faultless condition of a machine or a product. Finally, the overall state and the results achieved are evaluated.
