Abstract

The topic of the dissertation is the issue of decentralized system of electricity production with accumulation. This relatively broad topic is narrowed to decentralized production of electricity from waste heat using a special designed turbogenerator. In the introduction, a search of methods of thermal energy accumulation is performed, which is followed by an overview of technologies for the transformation of waste heat into electrical energy. The overview includes technologies currently used in normal operation in industry, but also special units that are not commonly used due to high investment or high operating costs. The main part of the work is focused on experimental measurement of operating parameters of a special design turbogenerator, the so-called steam ramjet turbine in order to determine the efficiency of operation. Experimental measurements also included the assembly of measuring elements with data transmission. In the final part of the dissertation, the results of the measurement are evaluated. The results are compared with the parameters of a classic steam blade turbine available on the Czech market. The strengths and weaknesses of the pilot unit are evaluated.
