Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the structural design of a sliding cross table with linear guidance. The introductory part of the thesis focuses on KOVOK Kopřivnice company and the current state of the linear cross table. The next part of the thesis is an introduction to linear motors, explanation of their principles and description of the design. Furthermore, attention is paid to the design of cross tables and comparison with the competing type of drive. This is followed by a detailed description of the individual components of a sliding cross table with a linear actuator. In the practical part, the design and construction of the cross table using linear guidance is carried out. The individual steps of the design and construction of the table itself are described. The resulting cross table is equipped with a motor and a control system that allows the table to move in both axes. The thesis concludes with load calculations, motor force and linear guide life to verify the correct design and functionality of the sliding cross table. The thesis presents a new approach to the design of cross tables using linear guidance, which allows for higher accuracy and speed of movement.
