VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Applied Mechanics, 2022, 77 p. Thesis supervisor doc. Ing. Zdeněk Poruba, Ph.D. This bachelor thesis deals with strength analysis of amusement attraction. The introduction describes the attraction and its objective. Further there are 2 standards that may need to be contained in the calculation. These standards are called ČSN EN 13814 and ČSN EN 1991-1-4. The practical part of the work deals with the geometry of the tower, its model for finite element calculation and application of boundary conditions, its own calculation and its evaluation. The stress and the total displacement of the tower are determined by software calculations. The least favorable positions in terms of strength are selected and their evaluation is performed. Their assessment is made whether the structure appears to be suitable for the positioning. The whole process leading to the final results is performed using the ANSYS Workbench 2020 R2 software.
