Abstract

The submitted Bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of full-load and pick-up transports. First, there is a description of the theory on the subject, relating to road transport and related legislation. In the practical part, we will find an introduction to the company in a detailed characterization, supplemented by an analysis of competitors and the economic outcome of recent years. Furthermore, the various parts of the transport activity carried out are described, along with its complications and difficulties. A comparison is then made between the specific modes, whether full-load or pick-up transport. It is all about comparing time-consuming, cargo transshipment, coordination and organisation. Part of the practical part is the focus on financial costs and profitability on the company's set of vehicles over the period.
