Abstract
The diploma work was focused on a proposal of a new product line of the food processing company GOLD SPICE, Ltd. which deals with production of one-type spice, spice blends and universal spice seasonings. The aim of the diploma work was to find out attitudes, wishes and demands of the target group of customers for purchasing spice and spice blends on the internet. For this purpose, there were used the secondary sources of GOLD SPICE, Ltd. and Mimibazar, an electronic portal where the product set will be sold, then secondary sources from technical magazines as well as secondary data from competitors´ websites and other specialized web pages. However, the diploma work is based mainly on primary data obtained by marketing research. Due to this information a target group ofcustomers was specified and basic attributes of a new product line were suggested.
