Abstract

Bachelor thesis is dealing with the characteristic of modern airplanes avionics. In the introduction there is a definition, which instruments and systems in my opinion the term avionics includes. Thereinafter are the avionics systems introduced in a historical point of view. Legislation requirements for avionics facilities of airplanes then introduce the chapter of generally used standard instruments. In a sequence, the connection of standard instruments in-to modern, sophisticated avionics systems is documented. For the integrity and a general aspect in-to the problem, the treatise on future systems and Glass Cockpit conception follows. At the end, I summarize the partial knowledge which result is characteristic properties of modern avionics systems and trends of its further direction.
