Abstract

The subject of this dissertation is a test of anchoring lugs of safety belts in SCX electric car. The history of the safety belts invention is described in the preamble as well as the introduction to the work owner, i.e. the StudentCar Project. The following chapter covers the legislation of cars produced in low series and explanation of the standard for testing the anchoring lugs of safety belts. The next chapters describe the model delivered by the StudentCar Design Department, its modifications and the material used for the solution, the conversion of the geometrical model into the model of the finite element for resolving the task by means of the finite element method, the implementation of boundary conditions, contacts solving, the subsequent task resolution and its strength evaluation. The work further includes the progress and assessment of the real test performed by company TÜV SÜD. The methodology of resolving the task of anchoring lugs of safety belts by means of the finite element method is briefly described in the last chapter.
