Abstract

Bachelor thesis is focused on explaining the technology of laser beam machining and surface topography caused when laser machining. This work focuses on the characteristics of the material, its chemical composition and mechanical properties, subsequent manufacture of laser cutting technology samples and evaluation of these samples in terms of surface topography. The evaluation of surface roughness is quantitative method. The measuring device is a contact profilometer. Some roughness parameters are then made graphs depending on the depth h. At the end is indicated optimization of cutting parameters by using entropy.
