Abstract

This Diploma Thesis deals with the design of Axial Finisher of the Radial – Axial Ring Rolling Machinery. Design is systematically progressed from the calculation of the Axial Roll size, motor drive calculation up to the design of the whole Finisher. The simulation of rolling was used for the calculation of the squirrel - cage which resulted from the previous calculation of the rolling force and rolling moment. Further on the motor drive of the Axial Roll is designed and Axial Finisher with the placement of the fixed lower roll and height adjustable upper roll with its cylinder is specified. Linear motion systems and cylinders are designed. The Finisher is equipped with a measuring device for measuring the diameter of the rolling ring.
