Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to assess the overall level of work motivation among nurses and to identify the key factors that most influence their motivation and job satisfaction. The theoretical section defines basic concepts, models of human behavior, and the most significant theories of motivation in the context of human resource management. The practical part is based on a quantitative research survey conducted via anonymous questionnaires among nurses in the surgery department and the long-term care department. The conclusion of the thesis proposes specific measures in the areas of financial compensation, expanding benefits, and strengthening a culture of recognition, all aimed at stabilizing the workforce within the organization.
