Hodnocení vlivu vodní dopravy na životní prostředí v České republice

Abstract

This thesis deals with the impact of water transport on the environment in the Czech Republic. The first section explains the concept of inland water transport and its position in the Czech Republic. In the second chapter I present the development of inland waterway transport in the Czech Republic and the world. The third chapter focuses on the legal conditions governing inland waterway transport in the EU and the Czech Republic. The fourth chapter discusses the impact of inland waterway transport on the environment. In the fifth chapter are the effects of proposed measures to navigate the Elbe on the environment. Here I deal with two major projects making the Elbe (Navigation lower reaches of the Elbe - Ferry degree Děčín, Navigation middle reaches of the Elbe-Ferry degree Přelouč II). In the last chapter I present suggestions on the optimization of water transport with a view to reducing the environmental burden. We present here calculations of the volume of goods transport by inland waterway freight transport compared to road freight after the navigation of the Elbe, or implementation plan to build canal Dunaj-Odra-Elbe.
