The design and implementation of a control unit for an EV DC-DC charging station are examined in this
thesis. The major goal of the thesis is to develop a communication algorithm that can be used with
Vysoká škola báňská DC automobile charging station. To assess the effectiveness of the control unit,
simulation and experimental testing were combined in the research. One of the most important tasks
is to find a suitable electrical board that can be used for the communication process and complies with
ISO 15118. The basic objective is to program the communication algorithm into a microcontroller.
