Měření dat ze senzorů mobilu s využitím MATLAB Mobile

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the development and use of an application in the MATLAB App Designer environment for analyzing accelerometric data from a mobile phone. The theoretical part covers a review of modern mobile device sensors, focusing on their operating principles and potential applications in motion analysis. The data was collected using the MATLAB Mobile application during walking and running activities performed by selected individuals. The developed application allows for the import, processing, visualization, and analysis of this data using several methods, including step detection, harmonic ratio calculation, gait symmetry evaluation, and correlation analysis. The experimental part involved measuring six individuals of different ages and genders, with the aim of obtaining basic walk parameters and comparing them between participants. The thesis clearly shows the potential of smartphones as tools for biomechanical analysis of human movement.
