Abstract
The master thesis deals with the design of a test and process gearbox housing for a test device with a closed power circuit. The design is based on operational requirements and addresses the shortcomings of the original design. Emphasis is placed on retaining most of the original parts and the existing gearbox connections to the device. The introductory section includes a survey of gearbox and bearing lubrication methods as well as an overview of test device concepts. This is followed by a description of the test device, its function, operating principles and operational shortcomings. The practical part focuses on the modifications of the gearbox, supplemented by 3D visualizations and specifications of the purchased components. The work includes the calculation of the lifetime of the bearings in both gearboxes and strength verification of the critical cross-sections of the most loaded shaft to assess the possibility
of keeping the original shafts. The output of the work is a set of technical drawings.
