Použití nástrojů Total Quality Managementu ve výrobním podniku

Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on Total Quality Management usage in a vertical lathe manufacturing company working on engineer-to-order principals. The goal of the paper is to provide a number of recommendations how to improve quality management. TQM pillars, tools and methods are the main parts of the analysed topic. These TQM pillars, tools and methods were assessed on the basis of interview with internal audit director and on the basis of corporate documents. After a comparison of literature and current situation in the company, there were given recommendations for pillars, tools and all method which did not correspond with literature. There were pillars and tools which agreed with literature, so there were no recommendations given. Finally, there were tools where recommendations were not given even when they did not correspond with literature because engineer-to-order principals sometimes behave differently than it is mentioned in general TQM literature. Moreover, there was given recommendation to certify quality management system by ISO 9000 standards.
