Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with a laboratory model of air levitation. The project involves the whole construction, software and hardware descriptions. The dynamic properties of system are described by transfer function which was identified from measured step response of laboratory model. The correctness of mathematical model is then verified by computer simulation in software Matlab/Simulink. The conventional controllers were tuned by chosen synthesis methods. They were verified by help of computer simulation. The best tuning controller is then used for position control of real system and achieved courses of real and simulated levitating ball position were compared. At the end manual for both teachers and students were created.
