Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the identifiability of new and used sheets in engineering companies. Currently, in practice, there are no standards or regulations for identification of plates or other steel materials. Individual companies have to solve this problem alone. Analysis of the current state of record keeping and identification of materials in selected engineering companies will be part the thesis. Subsequently, the optimal proposal for the company Shape steel Inc. - identifying how to proceed in practice and what would be the benefits for the company after implementation an appropriate identification system.
