Abstract
The theme of this thesis was competitive analysis in the cafe market in Ostrava. The aim was to analyse chosen cafes from the point of view of offered quality of services and to compare them mutually. The survey was accomplished using methods of mystery shopping and observation. The theoretical part consisted of clarification of the key concepts regarding competition and services and characterization of the cafe market counting analysed subjects. The practical part included the analysis of data which was the foundation of suggestions and recommendations for the individual cafes.
