Abstract

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) study, or the assessment of the life cycle of a specifically selected product, in this case packaging labels for marking returnable bottles. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the issues of the principle of circular economics and LCA studies, which work closely together and knowledge and knowledge are necessary to achieve the goal of this work. The work also focuses on the issues and principles of recycling, specifically plastic and paper packaging. The practical part of this work is devoted to the assessment of the life cycle of plastic and paper labels, based on four aspects: the production itself, transport, gluing of the labels and, in the last part, the removal of the product and the end of its life. On the basis of these aspects, assess a more suitable variant for the production of labels for returnable bottles, specifically for the labeling of a liter glass bottle of Kofola.
