Abstract

In the thesis I feasible suggestion about large wind power plant for the assigned location. The site is located near the village Rejchartice approximately 7.5 km north of Šumperka in the Olomouc region. The first part include the principle of wind energy, also include the list of wind energy in Europe, in the world and consequently the status and potential of wind energy in the Czech Republic. In the practical part I deal with selected location of chosen by a large wind power plant and an analysis of wind conditions. Subsequently, the thesis deals with estimation of the contribution of power from the energy, economic and environmental point of view.
