Design akustických prvků z mycelia

Abstract

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design and creation of an acoustic element made from mycocomposite intended primarily for children's spaces. An integral part of the work is the preparation of the mycocomposite itself from waste substrates. The thesis presents the process of a design solution based on defined objectives, as well as the procedure for cultivating the material and manufacturing the acoustic element itself. The work also includes measurements of the acoustic properties and the surface treatment of the mycocomposite.
