Moderní trendy v konstrukci materiálů brzdových obložení a hodnocení jejich parametrů

Abstract

The goal of this thesis is to offer coherent view on construction and materials of brake pads, and to show present trends in their developement. Theoretical part of the thesis consists of clarification of brake function, description of brake lining materials and comparing of advantages and disadvantages of different types of brake lining. Practical part of the thesis is based on devising a methodology for determining properties of brake linings and then comparing them. Another practical part of the thesis is assumption of material structure of brake linings using scanning electron microscopy.
