Abstract

This bachelor work deals with the progressive technology of the plasma cutting. There are listed characteristics of the state of matter of the plasma and its use to cut the material in the first part of this work. There is described the plasma cutting technology from the point of equipment, used gasses and characteristics of the cut. In the practical part of this work there are compared the qualities of the cuts of the burnt samples with the different cutting parameters according to the ČSN EN ISO 9013 standard. The surface roughness ot the sample cut and its paremeters were measured and aknowledged. In the conclusion of this work there are listed the recommendations for the improvement of the quality of the cut which are based on the evaluation of the measured qualities.
